This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you visit autotechsolutions.com, request a demo, contact our team, or use the Auto Tech platform under a signed services agreement.
3. Information we collect
Information you provide directly (name, work email, phone, dealership name, rooftop count, message content). Information collected automatically (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referrer, anonymized usage analytics). Information from integrated systems (only as authorized in your services agreement — e.g., DMS feeds, inventory feeds).
4. How we use your information
To respond to demo and sales inquiries; to provide and improve the Auto Tech platform; to communicate platform updates, incidents, and renewals; to comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
5. Lawful basis (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)
We process personal data on the basis of legitimate interest (operating and securing the platform), contract (delivering services to a customer), consent (marketing communications), or legal obligation, depending on the activity.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with subprocessors necessary to operate the platform (hosting, analytics, email delivery) under written data-processing agreements, with your customer or its authorized agents, or where required by law.

We retain demo-form submissions for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete sooner. Customer platform data is retained for the duration of the services agreement and for the period set out in that agreement after termination.

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging, and regular third-party security reviews. Material incidents are disclosed in line with applicable law and our customer agreements.
10. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent safeguards.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes are announced on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
